About Meriidian
What is Meriidian?
Meriidian helps you understand where you are in life, why you feel that way, and what to do next. Most people know something isn't working, but struggle to see exactly where the problem starts. Meriidian is built to make that clearer — you answer a structured set of questions across six life dimensions, and your answers become a visual map of where you're thriving, where you're stuck, and where you're quietly disengaged. Its framework is inspired by portfolio management — the discipline organisations use to decide where to invest limited resources. Instead of allocating capital across businesses, Meriidian helps you decide where to invest your own time, energy, and attention. Then it writes you a strategy — specific, honest, and built entirely from what you told it.
How is Meriidian different from a personality test?
A personality test tells you who you are. Meriidian tells you where you are, right now, and what to do about it. There's no type, no archetype, no label. Two people who score identically on paper will get completely different strategies, because the report is built from your specific answers — not from a category you've been sorted into.
Who is Meriidian designed for?
People who've tried the generic self-help route already — the templated advice, the vague "5 tips for a better life" content — and found it too shallow to actually act on. If you're at a point where you know something needs to change but can't quite see the shape of it, this is built for that moment.
How long does the assessment take?
Around 65 questions across six areas of your life. Most people complete it in around 20–30 minutes, depending on how much time they spend reflecting on each question. It's designed to feel like the start of a conversation, not a form.
The Assessment
How does the assessment work?
You'll answer questions across six life dimensions — Connections, Wellbeing, Ambition, Purpose, Fulfilment, and Foundation. Each dimension is scored on two axes: how important it is to you, and how fulfilled you currently feel in it. Those scores place you on a map, in one of four zones — from Thrive Zone to Urgent Focus — showing you exactly where your attention is needed most.
Why does Meriidian ask behavioural questions instead of only reflective ones?
Because what people say they value and how they actually spend their time often don't match — and that gap is usually the most useful thing Meriidian can show you. So alongside how you feel, it asks what you actually do: how you spend your week, how you respond under pressure, what you'd do at 2am if things went wrong. Where your answers and your behaviour line up, that's confirmation. Where they don't, that's usually the real story.
How is my strategy created?
Your strategy is created from your assessment answers using Meriidian's own assessment framework, scoring model, and report methodology. Every recommendation is based on the specific patterns, priorities, contradictions, and behaviours identified in your responses — not selected from a library of pre-written advice. Advanced language models help generate the written report, but they don't determine the framework or methodology behind it; that's Meriidian's.
Will two people receive the same report?
No. Even two people who land in the same zone on the map will get different reports, because the reasoning behind their scores — the specific answers, the contradictions, the things they said mattered versus how they're actually spending their time — is never the same. The report is written for you, not for someone like you.
Is Meriidian a substitute for therapy or counselling?
No. Meriidian isn't a mental health service and isn't designed to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It's a structured framework for helping you understand the current state of your life and identify where your attention is most needed. Where your answers suggest professional support could help, we say so directly.
Privacy & Data
Is my information private?
Yes. Your answers are used only to build your Meriidian map and strategy — nothing else. We don't sell your personal information, and it isn't shared with third parties for marketing or advertising. Because the assessment covers sensitive areas of your life, our full Privacy Policy sets out exactly what's collected and why, in plain language.
Who can see my assessment?
Just you. Your answers and results are stored securely and tied to your account. Your assessment is processed automatically to generate your report — we don't manually read individual assessments as part of that process.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can request deletion of your account and assessment data at any time by contacting hello@meriidian.app, and full detail on this is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Purchasing
What do I receive after purchasing?
The assessment, your matrix, and the first section of your strategy are free. Purchasing unlocks your complete strategy report — full root cause analysis, a specific 90-day plan, and a clear read on what's actually driving the area of your life that needs the most attention. At launch, the full strategy report is £12.99/$14.99 (rising to £14.99/$19.99 once the launch period ends).
Why is the strategy report paid?
The assessment and your Meriidian Map are free because we want everyone to gain an honest picture of where they are today. The paid report goes much further — analysing the patterns across all of your answers, explaining the tensions that matter most, and producing a personalised strategy with practical recommendations and a structured 90-day plan. Generating that report is the core of what Meriidian provides.
What's your refund policy?
Because your report is generated specifically for you and delivered immediately, purchases are generally non-refundable once the report has been accessed. If something goes wrong technically, or you believe there's been an error, contact hello@meriidian.app and we'll work with you to resolve it. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are subject to their respective refund policies.
What happens if I have a technical problem?
Contact hello@meriidian.app and we'll sort it out. If you paid and didn't receive your report because of a technical issue, that's on us to fix — not something you need to chase.
Can I retake the assessment?
Your original assessment and strategy are yours to keep and revisit any time. If you want to track how things change over time, the quarterly subscription (£4.99/month or £39/year) reassesses you every quarter and shows you how your map has moved.
